A new alliance is forming to strengthen substance use disorder (SUD) services in New Hampshire.

At the 2025 New Hampshire Behavioral Health Summit, partners announced the launch of the Addiction Supports and Advocacy Professional (ASAP) Alliance — a nonprofit trade association dedicated to supporting SUD and other addiction-services providers.

The ASAP Alliance will advance the work of professionals and organizations within New Hampshire’s expanding SUD care sector through advocacy, awareness building, representation and technical assistance. It is currently in its organizational phase and will be established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with support from the Charitable Foundation, Helms & Company and The Dupont Group.

Reflecting on the new alliance, Traci Fowler, Charitable Foundation initiative leader for behavioral health, emphasized the need for continued progress. “While we know that New Hampshire has made meaningful strides in addressing substance use disorders, we continue to face real challenges,” she said. “Having a strong professional organization will help elevate critical policy issues and recognize the professionalism of those who work in this field.”
